Overview

  • Our Basic Training Academy will be held over the first three weekends of November in the Santa Monica Mountains.

  • Training will cover foundational wildland and WUI firefighting concepts, structure triage, hose lays, fire behavior, comms, operations, evacuation procedures, safety, and more.

Important information

  • Please bring your own lunch and drinking water.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.
